syriapol utilizes the latest research techniques to understand Syrian attitudes towards government, politics, economy, democracy, & peace. 

Each of these factors relates to the other 4 in a complex & interdependent manner.  Therefore, simple yes/no or multiple choice questions do not encourage realistic answers.

Consequently, polling the attitudes towards any of these 5 factors must be done in the context of the other 4.

syriapol accomplishes this through a series of hypothetical scenarios which incorporate elements of government, politics, economy, democracy, & peace.

Through this technique, which utilizes a tool called conjoint analysis, we are able to determine the importance of each of those 5 attributes, relative to the other 4.  And, additionally, we can isolate the individual's opinion on any one of the statements printed on the cards.  This enables us to construct the ideal scenario for each respondent.

More importantly, we can assess the collective opinion of groups of respondents towards the status quo, or towards a change in the status quo.
